Marissa Carson

Marissa Jade Carson is a graduate student of Float2stroke Swim School. She took lessons from Lisa when she was 8 months old and is excited to be training with the helping hands of her former teacher.
Marissa has been compared to a mermaid on a regular basis. Her middle name means “‘Daughter of the Sea.” She has also dressed up as Ariel for children’s birthday parties, wearing a tail and jumping into the pool to swim around with the all the young children.
In her free time, when she's not acting like a fish, she dances, sings and has taught multiple dance classes to young children, teenagers and even adults! She loves helping others learn the activities she enjoys and has fun when she’s doing what she loves the very most.
She has won two competitions on a national level, one being in vocal performance and another in dance choreography! When Marissa isn't dancing, you can find her in the water or up in the mountains breathing with the trees. She loves to get out, move and be with her friends and family. Marissa will be attending Westminster University in the Fall and is super excited to train at Float2Stroke Swim School this Summer. She is looking forward to getting to know the parents and especially learning the great techniques that have kept Float2Stroke Swim School in business for 22 seasons.
